CRLP professional learning programs offer a research-based and classroom-ready approach to support TK-12 students' academic language and literacy development. Developed by experienced classroom teachers working with university faculty, CRLP professional learning programs meet criteria for professional learning in LCFF, and ESEA’s High-Quality Professional Development for Title I, III, V and VII, Part A; and for Title II, Part A and B.
Ways to Participate:
School Partnership Programs offer a collaboratively-designed professional learning program, customized to meet the specific needs and interest of local schools and districts. CRLP Signature Programs. Our Signature Professional Development Programs draw upon the collective knowledge of scholars, researchers, and teacher-leaders in the field of literacy development to provide practical instructional routines and learning scaffolds that teachers can implement to foster the development of academic language and literacy. Open Programs. We offer a variety of learning opportunities throughout the year that are open to all educators, regardless of location, school site, or district. These short-term, topical workshops are focused on literacy-focused topics of interest, such as building students' oral discourse abilities.
